An ‘Art-Tea’ Afternoon At The Exhibitionist Hotel

27 May, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Deborah Azzopardi Save The Date 2018

We have been invited to visit gallerist Cynthia Valianti Corbett’s new curation of the public spaces at The Exhibitionist Hotel in South Kensington. Our visit will include a tour of the works on show and a discussion with Cynthia about the artists that she represents and champions, and the Young Masters Art Prize that she has founded. The Exhibitionist Hotel will provide a lovely tea for our enjoyment, including a glass of bubbly to celebrate the opening up of museums and indoor spaces!

About the Cynthia Corbett Gallery: After a career as an economist, American-born Ms. Corbett attended Christie’s Education, obtained a Masters degree, and launched her eponymous gallery in 2004. She represents a wide range of contemporary artists working in various media, and is an important presence on the London and international art fair scene. She is also the founder of the Young Masters Art Prize, recognising contemporary artists who embrace the art of the past, and the Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize, which celebrates excellence in contemporary ceramics.

About the Exhibitionist Hotel: This art-centric boutique hotel lives up to its name, with rooms and communal areas that are bold and maximalist in design, commanding attention with their unusual array of artwork. Located a short walk from the V&A, the overall vibe is exciting and irreverent, calling to mind an art gallery rather than a hotel.
