This is a Spanish language tour, exploring the southern side of the River Thames in London, a fascinating area known as the Suburb of Pleasure, where there are still vestiges of that mysterious, dark and vital past of this picturesque area of London.

Discover with Blue Badge Guide, Maria Luz Gartner, some of the famous theatres, the dreaded Clink prison, the ruins of the Bishop’s Palace of Winchester, the cemetery of women of licentious life, pirates’ stories and much more.  We will learn how this once forgotten and neglected area began to resurface in the last decade of the 20th century, thanks to the construction of the Millennium Bridge, the reconstruction of the Globe Theatre and the opening of the Tate Modern gallery.
