To celebrate the re-opening of the National Portrait Gallery with Muriel Carre , LearnArtory Blue Badge Guide we will be looking at hemlines and waistlines, ruffs and cuffs, hooks and hoops, bonnets and corsets, and much much more! Our tour of the revamped galleries will be an exploration of changing styles and lifestyles, a fireworks of textures and textiles, a lesson in power dressing and a close study of the art of portrait painting.
Our meeting point is to be confirmed (probably Charing Cross entrance, opposite St Martin in the Fields) .
