Come and join Lucy Schoonhoven, one of our KCWC members, for a special end of summer lunch at her allotment where she has grown flowers and vegetables for over 25 yrs.
You will learn a little on the history of allotments and about growing vegetables in a small area. Together we will then prepare, cook and eat a delicious BBQ lunch of chicken skewers and fresh produce we pick that day. This will be a relaxed outdoor event where you can wear jeans and trainers and will probably get dirt under your nails!
