This visit gives us a wonderful opportunity to see first-hand the awaited refurbishment of one of the most outstanding private art collections in the world, the Courtauld Collection. Located in the north wing of Somerset House, the Gallery underwent a significant modernisation and is now reopened to the public. Our Blue Badge guide, Maria Luz Gartner, will tell us about the origin of the collection and will show us some of its masterpieces, that include numerous icons in the history of art. If you like Impressionism (Monet, Renoir, Degas…) and Post-Impressionism art (Van Gogh, Seurat, Gauguin…) do not miss this visit. The cost includes the entry ticket.
All levels of Spanish are welcome.
