A visit to Hampton Court Palace looking at the famous art work including painting by Van Dyck, Veronese and Gainsborough. We will be lead by our favorite Art Historian Chantal Brotherton-Radcliffe.
The original Tudor Hampton Court Palace was begun by Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century, but it soon attracted the attention of Henry VIII, who brought all his six wives here. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens and famous features such as the Maze and the Great Vine.
After your art tour, which begins at 10:15, you will be free to wander around the rest of the palace and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. Your ticket price includes the full venue use.
It is an easy train ride from Waterloo station with a 10 minute walk to the palace or you could drive. We will have two tours please meet outside the ticket office 15 minutes before your tour time.
