KCWC Hospitality is pleased to invite members and guests to our February Hospitality Luncheon at Restaurant “116” in the Athenaeum Hotel opposite Royal Green Park. The hotel, family run since the 1990s, started life in 1850 as “Hope House” attracting the attention of Charles Dickens who noted its extravagant interiors. The word Athenaeum translates as “library” and is derived from the Greek name “Athena” the goddess of wisdom. As a 5-star hotel, it has been associated with Elizabeth Taylor, Russell Crowe, Boy-band ‘Take that”’ and Steven Spielberg who resided there while working on ET, Close Encounters, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Please book your ticket early. We organised a delicious set menu of two courses: 2 choices of starters (one vegetarian) and three choices of mains (one vegetarian) for you to choose one of each. Booking will be closed on 3rd February. We look forward to welcoming you to this special spot in Mayfair.
Start your membership with an annual fee of £130* and receive access to benefits, discounts and over 30 types of activities.
