On the 17 January 2025 we will attend the KCWC monthly Guest Speaker Address at the Royal Over-Seas League, near Green Park. Our speaker will be Dr Helen Fry, the historian who has written 25 books on the Second World War, depicting British intelligence, espionage and wartime eavesdropping. The talk will be followed by lunch at one of our favourite venues, namely the Athenaeum Hotel at 116 Piccadilly W1J 7BJ.
It will be composed of two courses, starter and main; drinks on your own tab.
Choice of starter:
– Allotment beets, Croxton manor goats curd, chocolate, charred leeks.
– Chestnut mushroom soup, sherry and thyme, curry oil, crème fraiche.
Choice of main:
– Providence Farm chicken & grain bowl.
– Quinoa, miso, marmalade, edamame, greenhouse cucumber, nutritional sprouts, ginger, sesame vinaigrette.
– Cornish stone bass, brown crab risotto, Penang curry, native shellfish bisque, kaffir lime.
