Join us for a two-night stay in the lovely city of Norwich. We have organized a full schedule so make sure you pack comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and your sense of adventure.

Norwich is the capital of the East Anglia located a 1.45-hour train journey from London Liverpool Street station. It is also England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. It offers 900 years of rich history, beautiful architecture and a great Foodie destination. Our itinerary will look something like this:

Day 1 - Tuesday 16th September

Travel by train from Liverpool Street (London) to Norwich (aiming for 9:30am - 11:20am)

Walking historical tour of the city with local guide (1:00pm - 3:00pm)

Satiate Artisan cooking school, A Taste of the Loire demo by chef-owner Loïc Malfait. Includes tasting (5:00pm - 8:00pm)

Day 2 - Wednesday 17th September

Tour of a local vineyard with wine tasting and lunch (11:00am - 2:00pm)

Free time

Two options for dinner - set menu for £65.00/person Benedicts (https://restaurantbenedicts.com) OR à la carte at Benoli  (https://benolirestaurant.com)

Day 3 - Thursday 18th September

Check out and return to London (times tbc)

We have secured a reduced-rate group booking (breakfast included) at the historical Maids Head hotel in the city centre, steps away from Norwich Cathedral and other city sights. We will use a local taxi service for transport (to/fro vineyard and to/fro cooking school).

The deposit required below to secure your booking will count as payment towards the tour guide fees and local transport. You will be responsible for booking/paying for all other aspects of the trip:

Train tickets (approx. £72.00 each way, standard seat), hotel room (£148.50 per night including breakfast for an executive room/king size bed), cooking school demo (£45.00/participant), vineyard tour, wine tasting and lunch (£56.00/participant), day 1 lunch and day 2 dinner.) Once you book a. ticket below, we will provide you with links/contacts to make your own reservations for trains, hotel room, cooking school demo and vineyard tour, tasting and lunch.

Please ensure you inform us well ahead of time of  food allergies, intolerances and other dietary restrictions as we may not be able to accommodate last minute changes to some menus.
