We get together to share tips about getting the most use and value from our iPhones. We discuss how and why to put photos into folders, how to use the Libby library app, ideas about using the Notes app in daily life, and some photo editing features on the iPhone. We plan to make use of Apple’s free classes at the Regents Street store in future sessions. The Apple store will help us learn to create art in our Notes app, begin coding on iPads, edit photos, and take better photos. There is a lot to explore with our iPhones.
We play intermediate level social, fun, but competitive tennis and have a coach for each of the two-hour sessions. We play indoors so the weather is never an issue.
We meet to attend performances of plays at local West End theatres buying tickets as a group.
We are delighted to offer members the opportunity to travel abroad with like-minded women. We have appointed a reputable boutique travel agency to handle all the arrangements, from creating the itinerary to complying with strict ABTA travel regulations. We intend to visit European cities and go on activity trips such as skiing. We welcome any suggestions from members for future destinations or “special interest” trips, (eg. art/history/walking tours etc) either in the UK or abroad, so we can ask the travel agent to research and offer various itineraries and pricing options.
We currently volunteer as a group at the Wandsworth Food Bank, where we sort food items for the needy, and at Refettorio Felix, a drop-in centre and community kitchen serving vulnerable people in the community. Check out our schedule and join us to make a big difference to those in need.
