A four week practical, visual, interactive and edible course exploring the art of home entertaining with Helen Sugarman of Cook’d London.
Helen, a trained ex-Claridges chef, author, wine expert and party planner will lead this informal series from her home in leafy South West London.
What’s included:
Week one: The Art of Tablescaping
An introduction to planning a great party whatever size. Invitations, themes, colours, events. We will make drinks and nibbles, edible place cards & edible centre pieces
Week Two: Planning the Menu
We will make starters + desserts (3 of each). Cookery demo, food sampling and recipes to take home.
Week Three: A Main course for all Seasons
Helen will demonstrate how to prepare 4 main courses one for each season, discussing the importance of local seasonal produce, including a buying guide of some of London’s finest food shops and markets outside the centre of town.
Week Four: Music, Games, Flowers, Conversation and Wine
Looking at everything that isn’t food that contributes to a great dinner party. Helen will host a blind mini wine tasting of one grape variety from around the world plus a small floral demonstration to enhance your tables.
Cost: £195.00 (for all four sessions). This includes all food, recipes, drinks and information.
