With a luxury hotel as protection from a busy main road, the quiet streets behind London’s last main-line station host a veritable ABC: Alfies Antique Market, the birthplace of Lords, and the Bentley motor car and one of the most famous film locations of 1964. In this fascinating area, you will also discover the art deco Spitfire Works and social housing of Octavia Hill on the street whose story inspired Shaw’s Pygmalion.
This zoom is part of Rachel Kolsky ‘s “Behind The Termini” series.

If the day or time of this zoom is not convenient , a recording can be sent to you to watch within 3 days of the Zoom presentation.
