Join us for an amazing evening at The Langham Hotel with a drinks reception, three-course dinner, entertainment, live band, and fabulous prizes!
All proceeds will go to the Breck Foundation, a charity dedicated to educate and empower young people to keep safer online.
Lorin LaFave Gordon was first a member of KCWC in 1997 and credits her long journey to becoming a mother (of Breck in 1999) to the KCWC Fertility Support meetings, where the ladies shared resources, ideas, laughter, tears, and support, to fulfil dreams of becoming mothers.
Unfortunately Lorin’s son Breck was groomed online at 14 years old when gaming with friends from school. Despite Lorin’s attempts to keep Breck safe by various methods including phoning the police, Breck was lured to his death by the predator.
The Breck Foundation was set up in 2014 to share the lessons learnt and educate all to recognise signs of grooming and other dangers children may face online. Breck’s story and lessons have helped thousands of children keep safer online and the charity continues to adapt to the changing online world.
Your support of the event is greatly appreciated. It will be a fun-filled evening of celebration with a Mardi Gras theme. Get those frocks out and put your dancing shoes on!
Tickets per person: £225. Please book your ticket here, which is free for administration purposes only! I will contact you regarding payment by email when we have a full table of 10 people.
