Join us as we prepare for Diwali with a special celebration lunch at Pataka on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Diwali is one of the primary festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. A festival of lights, it is India’s biggest and most important holiday of the year. To celebrate the return of Lord Rama after vanquishing the demon Ravana, homes are decorated with lights, firecrackers burnt, puja (prayers) offered and gifts given. Feasts shared with family and friends are an important part of Diwali with lots of Indian sweets consumed. The festival usually lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika. This year it is celebrated October 22 – 26.

We invite you to reserve your place below. All dishes and costs will be shared.
