The Foodies group is pleased to introduce its new Cooking Club: a new opportunity for members to share their passion for cooking.

We plan on running these Cooking Clubs every other month for now, alternating between lunch and dinner, and can increase its frequency according to demand. Each meeting has a designated hostess whose role it is to plan a menu, typically composed of an entrée, a main and a dessert, and purchases the required ingredients (the cost of which is covered by your ticket).

On the meeting date, the hostess prints out her recipes and sets up work stations in her kitchen. Registered members arrive at the designated time, and get to work preparing the meal together, and then enjoying the fruit of their labour together.

Our first Cooking Club will be lead by member Maryse Goudreault, who has proposed this lovely idea to us. Her menu will be
inspired by a recent experience in Thailand, where she successfully completed a course on Thai cuisine.

This first meeting will take place in the St-James area and the exact location will be communicated to registered participants nearer to the date. Places are very limited, so please book your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
