In Celebration of Earth Day Special Events & Glorious Gardens Present…Highgrove Private Gardens Tour and Lunch
KCWC has been lucky enough to be invited for a private garden tour followed by a two-course lunch with local produce in the restaurant at Highgrove Gardens, Gloucestershire, the private residence of
Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
King Charles III has devoted much personal time and energy to transforming his gardens into a private piece of heaven which is renowned around the world for its myriad of garden including the Sundial Garden, the Wildflower, of which seeds are stored in the Arctic ‘doomsday vault’ in Norway and the enchanting carpet garden based on the design of a  two Turkish rug and was a Silver Gilt winner at the Chelsea Flower Show

There are 26 places for members available on a first come first served basis for this joint event organised between Glorious Gardens and Special Events.

Location: We are meeting outside the Milestone Hotel  at 9.00 am to be transported by coach arriving at Highgrove House at approximately 11.30 with a restroom stop en route. Your private garden tour is from
12.30 and is followed by a two-course luncheon. Please note that any wine and coffee are at the individual member’s own expense.

Note: Please bring a photographic ID such as a passport or driver’s licence to be
admitted. Copies of these may be required by the Police in advance. Please bring walking shoes and shoes to change into for the restaurant. You will need to carry the shoes with you. Please also bring a £5 note each to be given to Virginia on arrival so that she can tip the serving staff and coach driver on our behalf. The coach should return before 6 pm but this is conditional upon traffic. Allergies and Food Intolerances Please inform Maria at [email protected] upon booking if you suffer from any food allergies or intolerances so that we can warn the Chef and kitchen well in advance. Please note that whilst tap water is provided any wine, mineral water, teas or coffees are at the expense of the individual member ordering them.
