
Join Passion For Fashion for a wonderful day out at Tate Britain Museum exploring the exhibition of John Singer Sargent’s works. Emphasis will be on connections between the artist and his depictions of the fashions worn by his sitters.
Enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, a lecture presentation by an experienced Tate Guide as an introduction to the exhibition, followed by a buffet lunch and then pre booked entry into the exhibition itself. This is an easy way to socialize with fellow KCWC members, as well as appreciate a must see exhibition at your leisure.
10.30am – Arrive at Tate Britain – Greeted by the Tours and Experiences Team
11.00am – Welcome Teas and coffees served in the Clore Foyer, exclusive use of the space for KCWC members.
11.30aam – One Hour Introductory Lecture Presentation exploring the exhibitions themes and in-depth analysis of key works in Sargent and Fashion.
12.30pm – Buffet Lunch served in Clore Foyer exclusively for our group.
13.30pm onwards – Entry into the Exhibition, and time at leisure for members to enjoy the exhibition for the rest of the afternoon.
Buffet Lunch consists of a selection of delicious handmade sandwiches and wraps, a fruit platter and selection of handmade cakes, accompanied by juice, water and tea and coffee.
A selection of Tate Wines can be ordered for service at lunchtime and will be on your own tab.
