20 June, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Smithfield is maybe the bloodiest location in the capital, with executions including William “Braveheart” Wallace, 16th century religious heretics and the peasant rebellion leader, Wat Tyler. Join our guide Rachel to discover these stories together with the meat market itself, the last remaining City Wholesale Market and St Bart’s Hospital. But there is also the tranquility of the churchyard at St. Bartholomew’s The Great, maybe a peek at St Bartholomew The Less and several favourite movie locations, including “Four Weddings And A Funeral”, “Skyfall” and “Last Orders”.
