Explore Shakespeare’s London – follow in the footsteps of the Bard from one bank of the Thames to the other, with LearnArtory Blue badge guide Jennifer Hirschl .This walking tour will explore areas of the City of London and Southwark with connections to Shakespeare’s life and work during the years he lived here between 1590-1613. While little survives from Shakespeare’s time, he is very much alive and well not only in the plays and writings that he left behind, but in the many places we will encounter with strong connections to his professional and personal life.
We will meet at Paternoster Square – Elisabeth Frank statue and should finish around 12:30 at the George Inn in Borough High Street
