Well it has been a glorious and easy voyage from Dresden to Nuremberg, Paris and now Otterlo in the Netherlands for our final series with BADA and Nicholas Merchant exploring small museum collections. This is the country that can claim Rembrandt and van Gogh- so many treasures await us for discovery in this collection.
The world’s finest assemblage of works by van Gogh is, not surprisingly, housed in the walls of this museum. These are accompanied as well by other modern artists from Monet to Seurat, Picasso to Mondrian.
