
On the 12th May we will meet at The Royal Geographical Society in Kensington and Mr James Clutton will talk to us about the Opera at Holland Park. After the talk, we walk to the Royal Garden Hotel overlooking Kensington Gardens, situated at 2-24 Kensington High St, London W8 4PT. We booked the restaurant Origin for our members to have lunch prepared by chef John Serhal especially for our members. A two course lunch followed by tea/coffee.
Starters:
1. West London burrella, parsley emulsion, almonds. leek, lemon gel, Szechaun pepper.
2. Cured Peterhead mackarel, pea puree, pears, broad beans, salty fingers.
3. Seddon farm leek and potato soup, crispy leeks, caviar, mint sherbet.
Mains:
1. Cornish seabass, spring peas, fennel, asparagus, trout roe, Aker sauce.
2. Origin Shepherd’s pie, 16 hour braised shoulder of welsh lamb with cheddar mash and rosemary sauce.
3. Seared broccoli with almonds, florets and pickles served with seasonal salad (vegan).
