We will be visiting the PS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – popularly known as the Neasden Temple – which is dedicated to the worship of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the millennia-old traditions of the Hindu faith. It is a masterpiece of traditional Hindu design and exquisite Indian workmanship in the heart of London. Using 5,000 tonnes of Bulgarian limestone and Italian and Indian marble, it was hand-carved in India before being assembled in London in just 2.5 years.
The guided visit will include the Mahal-Mandap – Great Hall – with intricate marble carvings and the side shrines, the late morning Arti Ceremony and an Ahbishek. These ceremonies will be explained by our guide.
We will then be able to visit the beautiful gardens. The guided visit will take approx 90 minutes.
Since its opening in 1995, this renowned place of worship has attracted close to half a million visitors annually.

Following the visit to the Neasden Temple you are invited to join us at Shayona Restaurant for a buffet lunch. Please register separately.
