We will walk in the footsteps of four great women of Bow: Annie Besant, Eleanor Marx, Sylvia Pankhurst and Minnie Lansbury who, between them, transformed the lives of ordinary women and men – not just in East London but nationally and internationally. It is an inspiring and extraordinary story of how, in a tiny area of East London, a new form of politics was born.
This walking tour is a complement to Tim Potter’s Zoom lecture at 7:30 pm on April 27th; to get the most from the walk, please do try to attend the lecture.
