Writers, Mistresses, Abandoned Wives: A Walk about Chelsea’s Literary Women

5 July @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

poppins

Our friends at BADA are offering us six spaces for what will certainly be a sold out walk focusing on some of the famous women associated with the literary and artistic life of leafy Chelsea. Our guide Anthony Davis, FSA will regale us with tales of female writers and the often unsung and unappreciated wives and mistresses of male authors. To tantalise you, there is a poetess whose brother kept a zoo and a novelist who died three weeks after her honeymoon.

Included in the ticket price is admission to the Masterpiece Fair for Two.  So come along to exercise your body, literary brain and artistic eye!
