Come and Join us in Albertopolis, the name originally given to the area bought and created by the Prince Consort Albert, husband of Queen Victoria. We are touring the hall named after him which was built with the proceeds of the Great Exhibition (which he also helped create) followed by a lovely cream tea in the charming high Victoriana hotel The Milestone.
During this backstage tour we will see areas never normally available to the public such as the props, dressing rooms and loading bays. We will see one of our favourite venues in a whole new light!
We will meet outside the cafe at Door One at 1:50pm. There will be two tours from 2:00pm before we reassemble and walk to the elegant Milestone which is located opposite Kensington Palace. Please note that there will be approximately 1.5 hours of walking and that the dress code is smart as befitting a five-star hotel where afternoon tea normally costs £80.00 per person. This is amazing value and will sell out very quickly. Please book as soon as possible to avoid being disappointed.
