November 2021 General Meeting/Speaker Series – Linda Duberley, Journalist
3 November, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
It is with special pleasure, and particular thanks to KCWC Events Board member Anne Koutsabeloulis, that we present award winning journalist Linda Duberley as our November Speaker Series General Meeting guest. Linda’s career over thirty years has included three national newspaper titles, four 24 hour international news channels, and the UK’s leading commercial broadcaster. She is currently focusing on publishing and editing in West London her own content-led, community magazine, RiverTribe, a critically acclaimed publication read by 45k people in the area along the Thames from Barnes to East Sheen, Richmond and Twickenham. Additionally, she is Founder/Director of Duberley Media continuing her long standing experience offering coaching to FTSE 100 CEOs, public sector and charitable organisations in writing presentation and public speaking. She will discuss these new initiatives and share fascinating episodes in her prestigious journalistic career where, from international and London postings, she covered leading social issues.
A veteran of Sky News before moving to CNBC Asia, Fox News, ITV and Arise TV, Linda is no stranger to public speaking. Her personal interest in stand-up comedy will undoubtedly ensure she is an experienced and captivating guest ready to answer our members’ inquisitive and informed questions.
Please note this GM is on WEDNESDAY November 3 rather than our usual Thursday. A hospitality luncheon will follow for which there is separate registration.
