The London Art Fair has graciously created a special online event for KCWC members: a virtual private showing and discussion with curator Candida Stevens of Platform, the London Art Fair’s annual curated section focusing on a single distinct theme, with galleries presenting well-known, overlooked and emerging artists that align to the theme. For 2021, the theme is Folk Art. In a time when the world is ever-changing, Candida looks at our cultural heritage, our communities and our identity, and how artists working in the Folk tradition have chosen to pass on this knowledge and inspiration.
Platform at LAF Edit galleries are Candida Stevens Gallery; Cavaliero Finn; Ed Cross; Gibbons & Nicholas; Jaggedart; MADEINBRITALY; Outside In; Robert Young Antiques; RUUP & FORM; Ting & Ying; and Vessel Gallery.
In addition to this private online event, members who register to attend will also receive VIP passes to The London Art Fair, which has moved entirely online this year, with a full schedule of talks, online events and virtual viewing rooms, all available to VIP passholders (20-31 January; VIP preview 18-19 Jan). Codes to obtain VIP passes will be sent via email upon registration for this event. For more information on the London Art Fair: londonartfair.co.uk
